{"id":1636,"date":"2018-06-24T20:48:46","date_gmt":"2018-06-24T20:48:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kcc.life\/life\/?p=1636"},"modified":"2018-06-24T20:51:36","modified_gmt":"2018-06-24T20:51:36","slug":"sermon-june-24-2018-cry-believe-be-healed-follow-glorify","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kcc.life\/life\/sermon-june-24-2018-cry-believe-be-healed-follow-glorify\/","title":{"rendered":"Sermon &#8211; June 24, 2018: &#8220;Cry, Believe, Be Healed, Follow, Glorify&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<audio class=\"wp-audio-shortcode\" id=\"audio-1636-1\" preload=\"none\" style=\"width: 100%;\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"audio\/mpeg\" src=\"http:\/\/kcc.life\/life\/sermons\/jun24-18.mp3?_=1\" \/><a href=\"http:\/\/kcc.life\/life\/sermons\/jun24-18.mp3\">http:\/\/kcc.life\/life\/sermons\/jun24-18.mp3<\/a><\/audio>\n<h3><em>Cry, Believe, Be Healed, Follow, Glorify<\/em><\/h3>\n<p>Luke 18:35-43<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It was\/is believed that the Messiah would be a descendant of David.<\/li>\n<li>Even though it angered the Pharisees, they could not object to the title \u201cSon of David\u201d used by blind Bartimaeus.<\/li>\n<li>During Jesus\u2019 life there seems to be no refutation of his claim to Messiah based on a genealogical argument.<\/li>\n<li>This is but another evidence that Jesus is who he is claimed to be.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Transformation Expectation<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>God expects us to continue to believe and follow Jesus because the evidence to do so is more than enough.<\/li>\n<li>The temptation is to forget that we are now living in view of eternal life.<\/li>\n<li>Resist the temptation to give present temporal living the priority over eternal living.<\/li>\n<li>When we live with our eternal life in view we will live in the here and now making God look good.<\/li>\n<li>It should be our desire to see as many people be reconciled to God as possible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cry, Believe, Be Healed, Follow, Glorify Luke 18:35-43 It was\/is believed that the Messiah would be a descendant of David.
