(John 6:38)<\/li>\n<li>John later modifies \u201cask in my name\u201d to \u201cask\u2026according to his will.\u201d (1 John 5:14)<\/li>\n<li>Praying on behalf of Jesus means to pray God\u2019s will.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Determining God\u2019s will<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Scripture reveals God\u2019s general will for all believers<\/li>\n<li>God\u2019s specific will for a believer can be determined through testing which comes about through transformation which in turn comes about through renewing of the mind (Romans 12:1-2).<\/li>\n<li>Determining God\u2019s will requires two mind renewing things: faith and wisdom.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Remember the strategy<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If prayer is the strategy, it becomes the starting place, therefore don\u2019t be afraid to ask for\u2026<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wisdom<\/li>\n<li>Faith<\/li>\n<li>God\u2019s revelation of his will<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Misguided ideas concerning Extreme Praying<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Praying in Jesus name means that God has to do it.<\/li>\n<li>Believing it to be extreme prayer makes it extreme prayer.<\/li>\n<li>Extreme prayer is the only kind of praying that should be done.<\/li>\n<li>Prayer stands by itself.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What do you need to pray today?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>God, help me continue to have a strong prayer life.<\/li>\n<li>God, help me to add this new dimension of prayer.<\/li>\n<li>God, I need wisdom to discern your will.<\/li>\n<li>God, I need faith to know that you are listening.<\/li>\n<li>God I need for you to reveal to me your will so that I might pray it.<\/li>\n<li>God I need to submit to you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Extreme Prayer What It Is and What It Requires \u201cIn his name\u201d To do on behalf of someone else.
