KCC prayer for the week: Lord, we pray for Your direction and vision for our congregation. Let us find it in the truth of Your word and then help us to follow through with commitment in our lives.
Midweek Prayer – Please join in prayer this Thursday evening, from 6 – 7:00 p.m., and every Thursday following, in order to pray for the needs of our body, community, and the nation. Child care can be provided if you let Pastor Brian know in advance.
A special offering is being taken for our missionaries, Tom and Deborah Nite for the next few weeks to help in the training of teachers and students in W. Africa. Your donation can be put in the offering bag or the jar in the foyer.
Volunteers are needed! Tim Wagner needs your help for just a short period of time in the children’s Sunday school.
Nursery volunteers are needed for the 5th Sunday of the month and for a “sub” to care for our babies. See Kimberlin Van Dyke for more information or call 897-4445.
A Healthy Living Class will take place after church on Feb 24th, from 11:30 – 12:30 in the fellowship hall. We will be discussing healthy eating habits for young and old. All are welcome.
Pet Pads – A local woman is sewing “Pet Pads” for each animal coming into the Humane Society Kennel to sleep on but needs your old sheets, blankets, and comforters. The animals will leave with their pads to their new homes. You can help by putting your old linens in the laundry basket in the foyer.
A KCC Outreach – We will be sponsoring a young girls softball team this spring with our name on their shirts as an outreach tool. We will also be sponsoring Roy Medlin’s race car with our KCC logo on the side. Do you have other ideas to tell the community who we are? Please share with Pastor Brian or an Elder.
