KCC prayer for the week: Lord, we lift up our outreach programs. Remind us to do good and share with others as a pleasing sacrifice to You. Keep us outwardly focused so we don’t become self-absorbed.
Midweek Prayer – Please join in prayer this Thursday evening, from 6-7:00 p.m., and every Thursday following, in order to pray for the needs of our body, community, and the nation.
Baby Shower ~ A baby shower will be held for C.J. Stevens on Nov. 10th, at 12:30 pm, at the College Park Community Church, 1990 Jagerson. She is registered at Amazon.com under Heiden Stevens. Bring disposable or cloth diapers to be entered into a prize drawing.
Thanksgiving meal – For all those who are not spending time with family on Thanksgiving, there will be a dinner here at KCC. Please feel free to join us. There will be more information coming soon.
Operation Christmas Child gives KCC the opportunity to share kindness to a child through gift filled shoeboxes. Each week we will be collecting different items for KCC’s Shoebox Packing Party on November 11th. Join us this week in collecting school supplies and personal notes. They are to be brought to the church next Sunday, Nov. 4th. Ideas are: pens, pencils, sharpeners, crayons, markers, notebooks, paper coloring and picture books. Please write a message to a child in a card and sign your name.
