The Need for Wisdom
Genesis 29:31-30:24
Jacob would have avoided many of his life circumstances if he would have exercised wisdom.
If we truly believe in the attributes of God it makes sense to trust Him when it comes to how to think, speak and act.
Christian definition of wisdom: Think, speak and act in such a way that it produces the best and right thing for others.
Fear of God demands obedience which is what helps a person to think, speak and do wisely (that which is best and right). –Psalm 111:10 & Psalm 37:30-31
When God commands something it is because he wants us to think, speak and act in such a way that it does what is best and right.
